Cut in the Fuel hose Filter Advice

Good morning. I have been smelling a slight smell of fuel so last night i replace the fuel hose and found this cut. It looks bad.
I thought it would be a good idea to highlight this as i had NO engin issues and a small smell. I also have to replace the fuel filter Iwant to beable to see the water in the bottom. I have a 90hp DI motor.

Steve, did you work out what caused the damage? Looks like it was chafing badly. Aluminium boat maybe? Watch out for those raw edges & use split tube or similar around the new hose.

Maybe a stray rat in the garage lol................. and didn't like the taste of petrol!!!

I found out what was causeing it. It was a sharp edge i dressed the edge and put a cable gland. it all looks neat as. Very happy with the finished result I ran the motor ok. Willhave to do an on water test later this week
