hi interested in maybe upgrading from a quinny 470 runabout to a small barcrusher 530/90hp(4s) for close in off shore work on good days - need to be able to launch & retrieve on my own - anyone have one and welcome any comments good or bad and yes i agree they are not that cheap
thanks rob

My boss is selling his Barcrusher (550/115hp 4st yammy) at the moment due to lack of use. He is really happy with it. Nice comfortable boat to fish from. I'll quiz him a bit for more on monday.
Cheers Kim.

Is your heart set on a Bar Crusher or are you still looking at other makes?

dollar for dollar I reckon the BC's are great, I had a 560C and was very happy with it, sold it to upgrade but the finish, ride, performance and off shore capability was very good for the size and dollars - cheers - Craig
PS, have never been in a 530

frog fuzz i am 85 % leaning to a barcrusher but still a just bit interested in a similar size stabi and was bit interested in a joshua 500 also but they are no more - dont want something that rides too hard though and barcrushers ride very well i believe in a 1 to 2 metre - more than that i dont go there
thanks for the comments kim and craig intetested to see what your boss says
cheers rob

Hi Rob, I used to own a 560 Cudi Cab for around 3 years (just sold it to upgrade to bigger boat). The boat rode very well however the hull was noisy going into chop and swell, the back deck was small and not much room to fish out of.
I tested alot of other boats around this size and found that the 560 was the softest ride of that size.
Hope this helps.
