hopefully someone can help, i have had my breather block up and have had a few litres of fuel go over and down the gunnel :'( , as you guessed it has now affected the paint and is now bubbling and peeling. i am hoping someone on here may be in the painting business and may be interested in a respray from the hull up, i will do all the removal, rub back to ally and refit of everything, just dont have the facility to paint the thing. please let me know if you can help, cheers lee

Mate dont bother to sand and scrape as you will be there for months. take it to the local sand blaster he will have the old paint off in 20 to 30 minutes. tell him that you intend to paint it again, so he will know what type of finish is needed (there are different grades of garnet/sand he can use).
I have done this with my own boat.

Consider an Acid wash finish. Its got to be the real deal done by a licensed applicator.
I would give you the web address of a NZ Manufacture who uses acid wash almost exclusively but this forum has a censorship on posting URLs.
