Help Needed Fitting Seats in a Tinny

I am wanting to fit 2 folding seats in my tinny but am not sure the best way to do this as i dont want to use the clamps but i want it to be strong.

Anyone have any ideas?

Mike, what I have done is use aluminium 'sail track', to create slides. The steel swivel fits inside the sail track. The result is that the seats can be easily moved along the thwart to adjust the balance of the boat. Sail tracks are pop riveted onto the top of the thwart.

I have positioned the tracks so that the seats are removable as I sometimes use the tinny as a roof topper.
