Hey guys and gals, Not sure if I am posting in the correct forum but our planned yearly family marathon offshore charter :P is planned for Sunday and Seabreeze is giving a dropping wind for the day and actually agrees with coastwatch predictions almost!!!! :-X . We will be leaving Scarbie around 9 a.m. and returning around 7 in the evening. The skipper will probably be heading out around the Cape and hopefully fishing the grounds around the northern end of Moreton, but it wouldn't surprise me if he headed further north. With reported great catches of ginormous snapper and huge cobia being caught :o the anticipation is almost killing me. ;D
Just wanted to know what other species have been lurking around and what we may expect to catch during the day?? I expect we will be looking for some livies and bottom bashing with pillies and maybe squid and mullet fillets.
I will keep you posted on the day.
