well, the last few weeks have tested my patience, but its nearly over!
i dedcided to get rid of the honda faria gauges(analogue) and install new digital gauges, with fuel management, trip computers. these things are awesome!
i cant wait to graph the fuel figures when i take it out for test run.
next was to install a new icom vhf, with dsc, was fairly straight forward, apart from no actual flush mount kit available for the unit, i had the guys at Australian Master Marine, cut me out a plate for it to sit in, perfect!
another big mission was to install a johnson deckwash and live bait pumps.
took us a while to work out the best way to postion the twin port pump, and plumbing. dedcied to install a johnson high speed water pick up through the hull.
i couldnt drill the hole myself! i just couldnt get my head around putting a 3/4 hole saw through the bottom of my boat!
big thanks to gary( spainard_king) his help was awesome.
Australian Master Marine, top blokes. Glen Riley from Northside Marine, great man. flotto and jas (good mates) for doing the wiring, on the digital gauges and deckwash pumps.
some pics
lots of beer consumed
