In a word cold....its been the coldest month this year .l visited the upper Boyne region yesterday. The water Temp was 17 and that was in the afternoon . No sign of Gray Nomads or Fish. The Main basin of the dam has higher water temps and the odd Fish There seems to be a small window about dusk when they are looking for a feed..This can last anywhere from five to 30 minutes ..Lures that seem to work change from day to day .. Somedays the slow roll of a hardbody does the trick or a soft plastic worked quickly through the shallows. it just depends on the day and location..You dont have to find the warmest water either Its a combination of things.. So the more{ pieces} that you have in the one area the better..

Thanks Trev ...... Thanks for the update ( sounds like you are still catching them though)
Hopefully you have seen the worst of it ....... I know its been bloody cold down here:(

Grey Nomads ....... I reckon fuel prices would be keeping them at home:smiley: Makes for a safer road trip that way;)

Cheers

Chris

It was down to 10C in the house this morning....stoked up the a/con and soon warmed the place up........Fuel prices are coming down quite nicely at the moment the authorities have at last remembered Diesel....Im now paying $1.58 down from $1.73 so thats a nice change...Unleaded is around $1.31.....no doubt it will be appreciated by the long distance travellers......Cheers for now:D
