Greetings everyone,

i have a Stejcraft Monaco 6.4m 130hp Honda 4-stroke, and personaly i am very happy with it, though i think it is underpowered.

i am very new to all this, only 2 years of experience overall (mostly Port Phillip and Western Port)

i has looked at the forums and have noticed that there is no information on these boats, why are they not popular? are there any owners here?

if any one knows what sort of conditions that this boat can handle off-shore?

thank you in advance

They are a good boat. Not many around though.

I had one on consignment for a while in 2005. Its probably the same one you now have. Did you buy it from Noel Thomas? He was a marine aircon guy.

It went well with its 130 Honda but yes it was underpowered.

Cheers

Thanks BM
I've got my boat boat from Pier35 in 2006.

It looks like the same boat. Be willing to bet it is. Even looks to be the same unique colour for the covers. Does yours have a full camper back?

It had a new front clear made for it as the previosu one was a bit cloudy.

I have changed all clears, they were cloudy.
Can you suggest any source of information about Monaco boats,or someone who handled this boat under the different conditions.

Hey Micro,

I've also sold a couple up here in Qld.

I've only sea trialled them in relatively calm water, but looking at the hull shape, I would bet they could handle some rough water well.

I wouldn't be too concerned about taking them offshore or a coastal trip.

Regards
