Pam and I went out with Paul Dolan from Fraser Coast Sportfishing last Sunday. The weather didn't co-operate in the morning, but glassed out in the afternoon. Pam outfished me as usual, but the purpose of the trip was to prepare her for hard pulling fish before we go to New Guinea in TWO WEEKS TIME! These two Golden Trevally were around the 8kg mark. She used her new Bass gear, consisting of a Megabass destroyer rod rated 1-4kg matched up with a Daiwa Emeraldas 2506 with 8lb Fireline. We got to see the bottom of the spool a couple of times. Can't wait to see her get stretched by a New Guinea Black Bass!!

She also got a couple of small Snapper and a Finny Trevally. I got one Trev and some grinners. All the fish took 5" Snap Backs fished on TT Jig Heads

I think you might have fun trying to get a black bass on that gear if you lost that much line to a trevor!!!! Still one of the fish on my wish list tho, Black Bass, Hpe you have a great trip!
