Hi all went out saturday morning from Raby Bay. Rough trip across the bay and up to Coombi Point turned the corner and meet with a good 2-3 metre swell, well were are here now may as well keep going. Managed 4 nice snapper and lost another 3. Good run home as the conditions improved as the day got older.

Nice fish Mark, they look pretty fat too. Good sign the snapper may not have spawned yet.

When you filleted them were they full of roe and melt??

Looks like one is a male and the other a female.

Bassmaster all fish were caught on pilchards including the smash grab and bust off's. We did have plastics with us but i have to say the wind, sea and swell i couldn't be bothered getting them out and giving them a go.
