Hey all,

I own a Southwind UB520 and I am finding that it is leaning left as I drive. I can sometimes even it out by adjusting gear around. It has me stumped. There is nothing that appears to be out of place. Has anyone heard of or experienced this sort of thing beofe? And are there any other factors that can cause this other then people and equipment?

Cheers

it may be pulling right and to counteract this you steer left. hold her in a straight line, if it veers right u need to adjust the little skeg at the front of the prop.

See the other thread on the first page re boat steering.

The above answers are on the right track.

Cheers for that. There is a big flat plate above the prop, its got permatrim written on it. What is the function of this, and could it be causing these problems? If so, how do I go about fixing it?

can you post some pics ? eg keel-line rear profile & side transom profile etc
sounds odd for a UB
