A few cobia have been lurking around off the coast. These one are in the range of 12 to 16kg

Nice work. What produced the goods - Live baits? plastics or pillies?

Nice Cobes there speedylures, they put up a great fight.
There are a few around Central Queenslend at the moment, i caught a 20kg model at a local wreck on Saturday night.

There are a few around Central Queenslend at the moment, i caught a 20kg model at a local wreck on Saturday night. I was out alone & it was some fun getting it in the boat. Check out my thread in Saltwater

Cobia are delicious....dont mistake them for a shark and cut ya line...coz ur stomach will hate you for it! haha

top eating, one of my top 3. I think they have a hint of crab taste, since they eat crab

that will be my next posting, a trolly full of cobia, while you are up north chasing Snaps. Heading out tomorrow to try my luck while every one is at work.
