8-) G Day fellow anglers
Had the offer to do an overnighter offshore on wednesday with Longy and Tangles off Moreton ( good to be a deckie for a change ) and give the centre console some time off. Crossed the bar at about 3.30 pm & headed north to the bait grounds, anchored by 4.30 for the night. Had some visitors b4 dark with some awesome breaching& close ups ( one later that night that scared the crap out of me ) Anyway the fishin was great, the tally being 12 squire, 3 lippers, 2 kingys, & 1 jew.Let plenty of legal squire go throughout the night waiting for the big knobbys, but it didnt happen. ( those big lippers can fight with my two being pb going 7.5 & 8 kgs ) Didnt get to use the livies due to tank troubles, all fish caught on pillys. Thanks again Longy.
