Don't know for sure but most boats I am aware of in that size range come in at around 3,500kg

Hope that helps.

Spiro

I don't know anywhere online that you would find that info?, maybe an old boat test if you can find one.

Member BM might know. Similar to a Bertie 25 I guess!?.

...around 3,500kg...Spiro
That would be about right, maybe up to 4t (boat only).

The Mariner 25 has a fairly tall hull, with a raised sheer, and a long saloon with heaps of leisure space/accommodation/galley etc (read weighty fixtures). Plenty of glass (plastic stuff to keep the water out) and glass (clear stuff to let the light in) ;D, small but flat floor cockpit (tall in cockpit too). In other words Heavy boat.

Go Fishin you have described my boat perfectly. It is my Floating one bedroom home unit.It is very solid (read heavy) I am looking for an airberth for it but nobody knows for sure what it weighs. It may just have to stay in the water until I can find out the weight exactly.

Ah yes David, that is one of the old girls, but the displacement is way off.

Mick, send Peter Webster at seamedia (info@seamedia.com.au) an email. If there is anyone that would have some old specs it would be PW.

Tug,

A Bertram 25 flybridge (twin engine) weighs: 2550kg

A Bertram 28 flybridge (twin engine) weighs: 4000kg

A Savage 24 flybridge (single engine) weighs: 1100kg (hull only)

A Savage 28 flybridge (twin engine) weighs: 4200kg

Approx 2000-2200kg would be a reasonably accurate estimate.

Tug, any chance you might be able to post a pic or 2 of your floating palace please?

Hornet Rider it is the same as the one pictured on the link above, only the cushions are a different colour but I dont think you need a pic of them
Gofishin I have sent an email to Peter Webster but I havent heard back yet.so I am still only guessing , but I reckon you are probably correct with your guesstimate of 4t plus fuel (300ltr) & water (60ltr).Will keep trying. Mick::)::)::)

Well maybe not based on Nick's figures. I might be way over.

Nick, are you talking hull only for all weights? 2550kg seems awfully light for a 25/26 Berty incl motor, unless they are built much lighter these days.

Take the old girl down to the nearest marina with travel lift and they can weigh her on the slings.Jim

As Jim said weighing it is the only way to be sure but if you want a guess it'd be inside 4t - I've got a kingston 770, which is a glass boat of the same size and age and a ford diesel it's 3.25t + about 600 in fuel and water. Reckon yours would be a bit less as you're carrying less water and your v8 would weigh less

Gofishin,

Unless otherwise stated those figures include the engines in the weight figure. Those figures by the way are all direct from manufacturers brochures.

2550kg is the dry weight of a 25 Berty fly with twin engines. Add to that 1000kg for a trailer and thats 3550kg dry weight. Add fuel, water and gear and whoops, shes over 4 ton.
