Hey lads,

Interested in the tank sizes of various boats. Mainly late model but all models also.

If you can state your boat, year model, tank size in ltrs and most importantly the ACTUAL physical measurements of the cavity the tank sits in.

I am trying to see if there is a common (ish) tank size or really, a common spacing for the underfloor stringers and a common depth.

Thanks guys.

Cheers

1992 Quintrex 4.85m
60L
Dimensions: Approx 1200*600*250mm Not square on the ends its about 70mm tapering to a V where from tip to top of tank is 250 to suit the bottom on the boat

You're probably after something bigger, but it'll be interesting to see the dimensions between the stringers of larger tanks

2003 Seafarer victory,
Just had my underfloor stainless water tank converted to second fuel tank last week so I happen to know exactly what you are after
Fuel total : 227 litre (180 main + 47 secondary)
length: 2500mm Combined recess space- Slight gap between tanks)
Depth:160mm
Width:620mm These are all external measurements

Obviously as the tanks are a flat bottom affair there is a bilge space in a v shape under them.

Boat - 1989 HH560 & 130YAM2st

Tanks - 150 + 40 litres custom aluminium

Under floor tank bay - 2500 long x 540 wide x 180-240 deep

Maybe a poke around some large second hand boat yards will add to your research.
