Hi, you can often get a 6500 with rod for around $220 so make buying used not a great option in my opioin

i think they were $205 less 20%
i bought a 4500 there yest for $136.

Thanks for the reply guys I gues iam a bit fussy with rods.I prefer 8 foot rods in the bay and you rarely see these on special with reels, but will take seahorses advice and give that store a ring and see what sort of price they give.Thanks again everybody and thanks greg. Paul.
