Gday Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has used or tried one of these aftermarket trim and tilt kits:

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Hydraulic-Trim-and-Tilt-PT-130_W0QQitemZ170238883187QQihZ007QQcategoryZ111121 QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I have an 04 Yamaha 2 stroke and the boat really needs trim to get the most out of it.

Are they reliable?? Easy to use??

Cheers guys.

yeah I agree it will make the boat soooooo much better when you can trim on the fly, that brand has a good reputation in the US, do a few google searches to see what you can get one landed here from the US for?

The only complaint I would have is the degree it sets the engine back from the transom, if you can get over that (and mount the engine higher to suit) it's all good!

cheers fnq

Cheers guys,

Looks like its the goods, the yammie is just a bit too heavy and very awkward to lift.

Currently can only set the boat up for flat out, about 2/3 so hopefully should fix those issues...

Anyone bought anything from cabelas??
