This my new rod to go with my Steez 2500. Daiwa Steez Rod 6'8". Was out with my cousin few weeks back chasing snapper. He's got the same outfit spooled with 12lb pe castaway. He wanted to test it out ,i was cringing at the thought of it breaking! He ended up knocking off three 4kg snapper with his setup! OMG! I couldnt beleive my eyes!! the whole setup weighs 290grams made from SVF Graphite. Fast action at the tip and heaps of balls at the bottom. LOL! My main purpose with this setup is mainly for finesse breaming, doing quite good with them this winter too. Chasing snapper with it? I dont think could put my setup through that much pain. (thats my branzino's job) Well atleast Iv seen 1st hand what its capable of.

Good work smoked, I have the same rod and it goes great on bream and good sized flattys. Ive taken fish to 60cm with no trouble at all. I wish I had a steez on mine instead of the certate. Hope to see some photos of the fish!
