Goldie - Whales, Trag & Whales

Went out to the 24's & 36's yesterday and caught good sized trag everywhere but no snapper!
Could the whales have spooked all the fish away. We saw around 100 during the day with many of them rolling next to the boat telling us to keep away from their kids! Whale chase boats as well - everywhere! Even out past the 36's.
Anyone else had a similar problem.

only ever found with whales they tend to fir the fish up, we fished the banks last year and all was quiet till we had whales playin next to the boat, from then it was on , maybe coincidence but hey who knows. it has all been pretty quiet on the fishing front, at least you got to see somethin not a lot of other people see.

I went out last week and had the whales scar the shite out me and the crew coming straight at us then diveing under the boat at the last minite, breaching all over the place.
great to see but a little spooky.
