Freshwater, Estuary or Ocean?

Estuary would be the most popular. Should have beach in there as well. I think most fishos would fish anywhere.

I voted for freshwater, because I wish I fished there more often, but I probably fish in estuary's more than anything else, but I'm not sure because. Recently I've only being fishing is salt-water lagoons.

Sweetwater for me, but chase the jacks off the bank for a bit of time out between trips to the fresh.

Mostly ocean for me because of the boat, but just bought a new bream rod, so I'll be hitting the rivers and flats (estuaries) over here. There's been quiet a few 40cm brimskis caught :o, so, as Layton would say bring it on! ;D

i do estuary the most. i get scared of the big waves of the ocean fishing.

my comment on ocean fishing is that this is QLD dominated forum whereas off the coast of victoria i imagine it is too rough and has no reef to stop the big waves.

qld is a state more designed for ocean fishing with warmer waters, protected waters, more reef,etc.

living 2 minutes from Moreton Bay id have to say estuary but the ocean is a short hop thru the bar..... never did much freshwater but may change that soon too..grandson is having fun at reddy bay...

I thought i replied on this thread ages ago? but alwell. i only fish estuaries and freshwater, i went estuary cause that where i do most of my fishing, but nothing like hanging round a lake with a fire having a good ol chat about everything.

love my trout fishing(fresh),breaming(est),off shore flatties(ocean) down here in Tas.Started in the sea,crossed over to trout for over a dec. now back on the brine
I guess i have no real preferance these days
