Old Seafarer V-Sea

Just enough time for a quick question, what would be the estimated weight of an old 4.74 V-sea with a 70hp '97 Johnson on the back? Would a vehicle rated at 1500kg pull it successfully?

Hi Noisy, I have an 82 V-Sea with a 1997 90 Evinrude and solid Ruhle trailer (braked). Twin batteries, 80 litre fuel tank and all the stuff. Dragged it over the scales at the dump a couple of years ago and it went 1.25 ton full of fuel. I don't think the capacity of the tow vehicle is the issue more the fact if it will pull and stop the rig. I tow mine with a 3 litre diesel hilux and while no rocket ship does the job.
