Hi All,
In a few weeks I'm heading to 1770 for a family holiday, wont be taking offshore boat. I havnt fished that area for a long long time. any ideas/suggestions on the type of land based fishing or creek fishing (in 12 ft tinny) I could get into or any locals in tackle shopes etc who could help me out?

thanks - Craig

Yes, give Tony, Sandy or Josh a call, or drop in to see them at Agnes Water / 1770 Bait n Tackle on the way into town. You can't miss the shop, about 1 k before town.

Down Baffle creek is good, the close areas off the headland at 1770 will produce spanish macs and Middle Creek to the north is worth a shot. Also, but further away is Turkey Beach... Rodds harbour, very protected and good fishing.

Chucking lures around the estuary can be productive as well as heavy tackle fishing " The catwalk ".... ask Tony about that one !!!!
