Hi, i'm looking at buying a hanies sig 532f 95 model and i was after any infomation anyone might have on this boat. It has a yamaha 115 4s with only 10 hours on the clock and a brand new sea link trailer under it. I can get it for $27000.

Hey,

Price seems about right with those features. You'll buy much cheaper with older engines and trailer.

No a bad boat, can be a bit unstable at rest, but handles very well when underway.

Easy to handle, manage and tow.

I have an old Signature brochere which has the 532F in it, which is just 1 A4 page which is 3/4 pictures. I also have a 1/3 page review on the Signature 530/532F from Jeff Websters magazine Top 100 Second Hand Fishing Boats, 1985 - 2000.

I could scan and email them it to you if you'd like, pm me your email address if you want them.

Looking at the brochere, the 115hp seems to be good power for the hull, with the recommended min. being 75hp and recommended max. being 125hp.

Cheers

Sounds good. For a rough guide, a friend recently priced a new 540F with 115hp Suzuki 4 stroke. Came in around $50K with electronics and the usual options.

Based on these rough figures and crude calculations, this 532F boat has depreciated around $23K or 46%. You see plenty of 13 year old Signatures still going strong. Just get an independant pre-purchase inspection - a couple of hundred dollars well spent. How's the condition of the electronics, bimini etc?

Cheers

Test drove the boat this morning. It was a dream to drive, the 4s is such a change after a 2s. Pick it up saturday week, can't wait to pull some fish over the side.
