Blasted out wide in prime weather on friday, armed with the jig stick to nail a brute aj or King, not far from the cape managed a decent king on a 250 gram knife jig, then we put the lures out and trolled north to some good country for a couple of hours and caught several tuna on the way including a triple hookup, by early arve we were exploring the area covering a lot of ground before finally before dropping the pick and settling in.
The next few hours to follow were unreal only quality fish kept around the 3-6kg mark, we had the bag around dusk and set of for the long trip back to scarborah.
cheers Troy.
