Has anyone found that internet shopping prices are higher than hoofing it to their local outlet?
My Johnson L1600 Bilge pump died an age related death. So I went online to source a new one and find a price. Online came in at $148.50 and $139.00:-/. I would expect they would add packaging and postage (in Australia) to that too.
Decided then to go to my local fishing, boating, camping store and suss out their price. $129.00.:o
I really thought they would have come in dearer and I was not prepared to see 5 of them on the shelf.
Just goes to show that internet shopping can be a bit if a trap for the unwary buyer
