I need more space in the shed and our 16Ft 1978 Semi V Fiberglass family boat of many years must go.
This is a boat and trailer only.
It comes with...............

27meg Radio

Bilge Pump

Apelco Sounder

Canopy

Bait Board

Some Safety Gear

This is on a very solid Brooker Tilt Trailer.

Both boat and trailer are currently registerd

This boat has been a fantastic offshore rig and is especially setup for fishing it has had professional floor repairs and was not repaired to sell.
It would take a 20" Shaft motor to 90HP, infact it did have a 90HP Honda 4STK previously and prior to that a 70HP Johnston.

If anyone is serious about purchasing a top boat please PM me and I can arrange for an inspection on the Gold Coast.

FOR SALE AT $3,700

Cheers,
Jimmy

Jimmy, nice looking veteran you've got there. Can you tell me what the hull weighs & what kind of brakes the trailer has, mechanical or hydraulic please?

cheers

Hi there Hornet,

Not sure of the weight of the boat but all I can say is that she is very solid ,which is great for outside. we also used to ski behind her when the kids were younger !
De Havilland were renowned for there tin boats back then, and moved into glass, and made a very solid boat , so much so I feel they weren't competive seeing as the way they put these boats together.

The trailer does not have brakes as the total weight package dosn't require them.

She has to go so ther you go

Jimmy, thanks for the extra info. de Havilland do make quality boats. Pity no brakes on the trailer, I think with a motor big enough to move that hull along quickly, fuel, gear & all the other stuff it would probably be getting close to the limit that requires brakes, but in any case I just prefer braked trailers, especially for a glass boat. Not for me this time. Hope you get a buyer.

cheers

No probs Hornet,

this rig is way under the legal requirements for brakes even with a 90hp, and could be towed behind a 4 cycl. no problems.

there must be someone out there looking for a good deal ?
