Thanks Bob and Craig , probably not really what I am looking for, I already have a hollow fibreglass one about 20 years old, I just think its a bit heavy and doesn't cast well. The ideal would be if someone bought a Gary Howard Surf Classic or Wilson live fibre about 12 months ago and now wants to unload it at half price.
But you never know, balance, feel and how it casts are the more important to me than the name on the handle, so I should have a look.
I have about a dozen rods all up and some were quite expensive, and my favourite is one I got from Crazy Clarks for my son for $39 and that included the spinning reel.
So probably start by having a look at yours Craig, since you are not far from me.
Perhaps you could PM me an adress and time that suits or a phone number thanks.
