Conditions good as we left Kawana for the hards 9.30am thursday and the closer we got the better the conditions. Good fish show on the first mark we hit so a quick drift to work out a direction and out went the anchor.Only just gone 12.00 and not long after the first of the floaters went off and not long after i was on with the plastic and Jo was on with the bottom rig. All three of us boatnig snapper on our first drops, things are looking good.Fish kept coming in at a fairly regular pace for the next three hours(snapper, parrot & moses) then lost a couple to the grey suits and everything shut down. We spent the next three hours trying to get back onto the snapper but no luck so decided to drift the ledges while we had the moon up. We pulled in pearlies, trag, hussar and moses until the moon stated getting low so we anchored and bunked down untill daylight. Started fishing again just after daylight:blush: (slept a bit too well) and strted getting snapper again. Then some idiot comes over does a half circle around us as we're pulling up a couple of snapper and starts fishing beside us. You guessed it the fish shut down so after a while we decided to move on and do some more drifts instead. Packed up at 9.30am friday and headed home. Great company, fish and conditions made for a very enjoyable trip. Luv it when a plan come together.
Cheers Gaven

Hey Mark, we were mostly between 37-40nm but started at 34nm and got nice snapper as in photo untill the grey suits shut them down and we couldn't convince them to bite no matter what we tried. So moved on after a few hours. how did you go.
Pete,Jt,Craig, conditions great thursday but picked up a little from dark onwards but still good, makes for easy fishing.
Used lighter gear and lines than normal so arms a little sore from so much pumping and winding;D Gaven

Hey Spiro have no idea how big don't normally have to measure them but have included a picture of paul with the best we've got.
Flattyfinder it depends on the day and where we find them but seen to spend most time in the 65-75m. If conditions allow and there isn't much current we go further and try the 80-110m grounds.

Hello Mark we get the odd red but don't realy target them they are normally in the 50-65m grounds and havn't fished that area much myself, not enough time to fishing to much work of late.
