Mechanic for old Johnson

I have an '82 model 50HP Johnson that I'm not ready to pension off yet. I have a couple of issues that I need to get fixed on her (at as small a price as possible). One thing I do need to get done is a service. Can anyone recommend a mechanic around the Ormeau area? I want to find someone who is not afraid to work on an old engine (that I suspect was mistreated by the last owner) and won't try to spin a service into a complete rebuild....

pretty simple Motor there, might be able to do almost everything yourself I would reckon.
