Left the ramp yesterday around 3pm headed out to throw some placcies around for some snapper with no luck. Anchored on the 24s around 4.30pm and down went the live baits and floater rigs. first drop we get bricked on what I think was a good nobby, 20 mins later we get nailed on a live bait and bricked again, Time to bring out the big guns and first drop we get slammed on the live yakka and up comes a nice jew around 13kg. Mate catches a pike next so down it goes, ten minutes later it gets slammed, another Jew around 12kg. After that the fish shut down for a hour then we got our third Jew and lost 2 more. a great night and flat seas, my 5 trips to this area over the last 10 weeks has produced every time with a total of 12 jew probably 20 bust offs a mangrove Jack around 4kg and a few good snapper.

Great fish Mark.

Is it just me or are the Jewies getting better each year lately? Allways add a nice bit of colour/flavour/smell/sound to the box.

Ooops.:-X Dont tell the greenies or the bags will be tightened.::)

Cheers Scott.

Thanks guys it was a great night can't wait for the next full moon but it doesn't seem to worry them what the moon is doing at the moment.
