Braid

I'm about to put 30 pound braid onto my tyronos 20 it is a 300 yard spool of braid should I use mono backing if so how much what size and what sort of knot do you use from mono to braid? Or do I just wind the braid straight on?

use backing,not sure what size,i use an albright,but i've heard some other good ones,type in something like mono to braid into the search bar and you should find some good ones

seastorm you would need some backing on the tyrnos 20 if your only putting 30lb on it just to fill the spool right up .30 lb backing would be fine. just use a simple albright knot for the connection is fine IMO cheers nick
