No rain really here..miserable for 4 days, but no significant inflow to Monduran, as far as I know. Maybe a little, but nothing to get excited about.

If I told you how good Somerset looks it might take some of the pressure off the poor Barramundi.

I will find out the inflow from the Stanley River and get back to you all.

Regards Gordon

For all of you heading to Monduran this coming long weekend you will be pleased to know that the rain over the last three days has raised the water level........by a huge 13cm!!

This info comes from BOM as of 6.00am this morning.

Forecast for next weekend - light breezes (can you believe it BR65!!), partly cloudy days with the chance of a shower or two. Top temps around 25 degrees.

Good luck all!

Lake Monduran should be renamed Lake Elsewhere cause it's always raining here but fine elsewhere.

Cheers Foxie

It has been pouring in the Somerset catchment. Weir at Woodford is flowing at 400 mm at about 30 k per hour. (40 mm a few days ago )

Bass are trying to swim up the wall. These are the ones that have been put through the catch and release program on Somerset, educated, and now want to spend their later years on private land where they laze around in the shallows and get fat.;D :-X

The dam will be rising quite well. They have been letting it into Wivenhoe continually since Christmas I believe. We should hear some good reports on the news when this is over.

Regards Gordon
