Went for a fish off the Gold Coast yesterday, went through the seaway at around 5.45am and went straight to the 24’s . We got a 48cm golden spot wrasse, from their we went to the 50, we found some fish traps with dollies and mac tuna on them, we landed one of each on nuc chickens also got a nice pearl perch. Back to the 36’s good show on the sounder but no fish so off to the 24 again, got onto a nice patch of trag jew but they where only around the 40cm mark we must have landed 12 or so fish in about ½ an hour only keep one around the 50cm mark. Had a great day back to the ramp by 4.30pm and even went home with a feed this time.
