It's not water proof but I don't think you will find a more comprehesive book than "Grants Guide to Fishes" . I get mine out and have a study session every couple of months so i recognise most fish when I catch them and certainly the dangerous and poisonous ones. Cheers Imfiik.

I know AFN does a waterproof one, you can buy it here: http://www.afn.com.au/shop/scditem.asp?ProdID=729

Or you can give AFN a ring and ask where your nearest stockist is, if you'd rather. :)

Honest!! I just bought one in great condition of ebay 82model of ebay for $22 inc postage, the seller was selling 2 only 1 sold, I must have got real lucky! should bought both!!
I needed a cheap one to take out in the boat.
The seller hasn't left feedback yet so they get no recommendation from me but it may come up again soon, was hard cover.
