G'Day all,
I got some surplus XD100 from an engine I no longer use.
Whats the verdict, ok in a 2 stroke Merc at 50:1 mix?

Send Bombadier an email, people do and have run it premix although I have heard it is not suitable.
When it was a torco oil it was fine to premix.
I guess as long as the horses mouth speaks the truth and not a marketed position and they say it is ok then your engine will luv you for it.
cheers fnq

Ron, i asked about running it as premix in my 4hp 2 stroke when i brought it and was told not to as it is for etec and ficht injected engines only and would not mix properly in the petrol. I thought it would be easier than having two lots of oil sitting around.

Uh oh Ron.....don't tell me you are already missing the sweet smell of the E-Tec....http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/lipsrsealed.gif
Maybe you could try a teaspoon of XD 100 with your coffee in the morning....http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/wink.gifhttp://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/grin.gif

I would think not as it is not designed as a premix, it is designed as a direct injection oil.
But hey ask BRP.
