Hi all,
I've been looking around for rod holders for the boat which keeps the rods almost horizontal when fishing. Was watching Adventure Bound on Briz 31 last night and they call them Snapper Racks. Stainless steel rod holders, which look like bent steel on a stainless post. They allow the rods to sit there, they can't be pulled out when a fish hooks itself as the butt end is under a bent part of the stainless, but yet it allows the fisho to pull the rod out quickly to strike and retrieve.

From what i understand after them talking last night they could seem expensive cos they're out of stainless. Heard that on another show on cable, they have a piece of wood across the back of the boat with eliptical shapes cut out which does a similar function.

Does anyone know of these style racks in Brisbane, or made them or have any designs? Very interested in making one to test it out.

Cheers
Mark..
