Can anyone tell about lake burrinjuck?? Can I get a boat in or is the dam to low?
What do they catch there?? Is it worth travelling from Nowra this weekend with a boat in tow??

I dont know what the water level is at the moment, but I have spent many hours on the lake over the years. It is one of the best inland impoundment dams I have fished. Beautiful scenery, great camping and cabin facilities, well stocked store on site and plenty of like minded fishos there most of the time.

I have caught Rainbow and Brown trout, murray cod, golden perch(yellowbelly),macquarie perch(protected - throw em back), redfin(the big ones are great eating) and of course the ubiquitous carp. There used to be some atlantic salmon in there as well but I dont know if they survived the drought.

Ask for advice at the shop in the main camp area.....and enjoy the weekend.

Cheers
