we left spinnaker sound at around 5.00am last monday and made our way out to deep tempest.
we had ur first drift were i started using a 15-24kg rod with a tld 25 but found no luck:'( while the others around me picked up a pearly and a few small squire.
I switched outfits to a shimano barra raider with a calcutta200b with 10lb braid with a 12lb leader and started off with a nuck chick 7inch and picked up a 50cm pearlie.then i changed to bait (squid and pillies) we had about 3 more drifts picking up a few here and there and it went quiet till about lunchtime and we found a school of rosy job fish and squire and a few pearlies, things started to heat up then;D .
we ended up with a sorted bag of 30 but had to cut the day early because i had a team meeting...........:'(
