Hey all,

Took the Yalta out for it's maiden voyage today.
Put in at Redland Bay about 4am, Headed up to Peel had a bit of a poke around there and then carried on up to Moreton. From there we came back in through the rouse channel and then up to Mud. Back in to Manly harbour for a look then back to Redland Bay to drop brother in law off. Back out from Redland Bay and over to Pelican Banks. Back around coochie and home again.

Cruises nicely on 55kph with a WOT of 89kph according to GPS and Sounder.
is rock solid in the water and fantastic to drive.

No real catch to report apart from a couple of squid.

burnt 75litres of fuel.

Cheers

That's one hell of a run for a first trip... well done. As long as you're happy

Sounds like you had a great first day out on the water.8-)

How many hours did you put on the hour meter?

When you were cruising at 4,000 RPM,how many litres did the guage say you were using per hour?

Offshore Jack, I think it was around the 9-10gph at 4000 revs not exactly sure though. Put a couple of hours on it with that trip around :)

Seahorse. what chop? couldn't feel it :) :) :) :) :)- was a quite sloppy between rouse and Mud but handled it extremely well.

Reel Nauti - I got the motor as a demo with 20 hours on the clock. Has had a service already so all good.

Lots mate, unfortunately I do not know exactly how many as I never looked :|

it was a massive run though.

and lets just say I could have easily run it in a much more fuel efficient way but being the first trip, you have to test our your toys :)
