Will be fitting ski hooks to the transom of the boat soon, will be used for just playing around with tubes etc nothing very experienced possibly a single ski once in a while at best.

Is there a particular height above water that works better for the placement of these? Hoping to get it right first time cause there will not be a second!

Thanks fnq

I used to have mine as high as possible and as close as possible to the outside edge, just so long as you can get the bearing plate / big washer in a good spot.

You could run a ski pole up thru your cutting board and terminate it a foot or so clear of the knives and donger instead then you will not need a bridle!

there is no set height for a ski pole ,ive made them anywhere from 600mm to 1m above transom. your ski rope clearance to your donk will determine your height, dont forget to take into consideration when the ski rope goes slack

FNQ,

Tow hooks as high as possible. too low and the tow line keeps hitting the water making it hard for knee boarders/skiers etc

cheers
