Stellar VS Saltiga

Just fininshed a hot session on Grey Macks using a mates Stellar 6000 loaded with 10kg Braid......what an awsome bit of gear.

Also lucky enough to own a Diawa Saltiga Z30 and am in the market for a top end spinning reel and until yesterday it was going to be one of the Diawa Satiga spin reels.

Has anyone used both over a period that can compare?

this debate rages on every bloody fishing site. buy what U like mate not what others tell u. for what u will be chasing they are both awesome. if cost comes into it stella are cheaper thats all not better or worse.

Very true Matt, both reels are quality items and it just comes down to personal choice.I would own either in a blink.

I wont enter into the Stella v Saltiga debate because everyone has different opinions.
I own two Saltiga's though and are seriously magnificent reels and I love them.

Me and my mates have been through this numerous times and i have 7 saltiga's and some of my mates have just as many stella's so i guess it's all up to personal preference to which looks you like better. But over time we think that the saltigas are a little ahead on durability.
