hi all,
got a cpl this morning just in close to calondra. schoolie went 80 and the spotty a 1m. got the spottie on the Shimano BTR3500 w. 4-6 kg rod on a pillie on its way up from the bottom...WOOO. good fun. schoolie was trolled on HB. had a bight off on the 60lb leader of a floating rig....saw it swirl as it grabbed bait and headed towards boat....at least the same size as the spottie.
great morning...out at 5:30 back at 10:30. also C&R lots of small mixed species includin a little red emperor about 35cm on the light gear. daiwa 2500 on 2-4kg rod...awesome little fight.
