yamaha hydro tilt

Would like some comments on the hydro tilt that yamaha fit to some of their out boards.
Have seen it mainly referred to on tiller steer 50HP.
Is it as good as normal power trim and tilt.
What are the differences.
Iam looking at a second hand 50HP tiller control

If its fitted with tilt then thats what it has, tilt only and not trim.

The tilt only setup is designed to aid in lifting the engine. Not to provide trimming whilst underway.
