Dangerous areas

After reading the posts on the cat that went over at fido’s make me realize how much I don’t know about potential dangers at sea. I have not fished south of Palm beach reef yet and only as far north as cathedrals as I’m new to offshore fishing and boating, is there any other areas with the potential the Fido’s has that one should be aware of?

there is almost unlimited places that can bring you undone, not just the shallow rocks and bommies that lurk around everywhere, any windy choppy day can be a drama for the unwary who think they need to go fast to get home, most Boats will take a real beating before they 'trip" but it can just be a fairly small incident that can cause major problems, you just need to be alert, take any possible precautions and stay as safe as possible.
