My boss decided to give me a day and let me go fishing with him. I was unaware that there was 2 current QLD Bulls players who were also coming on the trip.:o ....Well we hit the ramp at 11:30 Friday 11th....The late start was because the to Bulls fellas were only arriving from Brissy at 11:00. Anyway in the water by 11:30 and we had a distance to travel to be exact(72 mile)....We arrived at our destination at 1:45pm......The sounder was blank at the spot but we decided to drop down and to see what the drift pattern was going to do....Out goes the Parra anchor an I was the first in the water.......Hit the bottom and bang rightg on them.......I housted the 1st fish in the boat and it was a 8kg Red:o ...At this stage all 6 of us were hooked up on Reds;D ..........After a 30min Red feast we had 13 in the boat with the biggest 75cm around 10kg........The went quite for a while till we hit them again.....Bang a triple hookup and another 3 in the boat......Pulled in the Parra anchor and shot back to the start of the drift....Out goes the parra anchor and watch out here we come.....At the end of this drift we had 25 Reds in the esky with not 1 other species:o ..At this point we new we were getting close to our limit and decided to chase a different species.....Got to our next spot on Dusk amd threw the pick to settle down for the night....... With the night shutting down and the odd redthroat and grassie coming aboard we decided to get a good night sleep..........We woke up at 3am and droped down a bait......Bang i was on and another legal red goes in the esky......We pulled the pick and headed for some shallower ground....We pulled up in 38m of water in chase of the Trout.......After a couple of drifts we ended getting right on the mark and within 2 hrs we had 17 tout and 10 Gassys and 22 redthroat in the box...We were running out of ice so decided to head fo home with a few stops on the way.....We pulled up were we got all the Reds the previous day.......We drifted right over the spot with still no show but they were there........Bang we had the 4 biggest Reds in the box for the trip and 1 Nannygui and was a shame to leave such a firing spot but thats the way the cookie crumbles.......... We called it quites and headed for home around 12:00 pm Sat 12th..............With a rought trip home witch took us 3hrs 10mins but it was worth it..............We ended up with 30 Reds, 17 Trout, 22 Redthroat, 10 Grassys and 1 Nannygui........With the Bulls fellas stunned like the rest of us with such a great trip......All congrats to the skipper......

Cheers Plastic_Magic
