G`day rusty,i have an older model 570 explorer about 1991 i think and have just had a 150hp Suzuki 4 stroke fitted. It replaced a 135 mariner that ran well but was very smokey.Just when i thought fishing couldn`t get any better it did,i am more than happy with the suki and a hell of a lot more power than the old mariner.I must admitt i was concerned the extra weight of the 4 stroke could pull the the backside down a bit but it didn`t make much difference. With 150 horses on the back she pops up on the plane with no trouble at all.Hope this helps,Paul

Don't know if this helps but I read your post yesterday and today drove past a 575 explorer with a 136 Verado over at Tangalooma Wrecks with your post in mind. It was sitting very level and did not appear bum heavy at all. Obviously cannot comment on handling or anything else.
