Good day all,
Who has a 30 year old collection of retired old faithfulls?
I mean those lures that live in the retirement boxes in the bottom of the cupboard, the ones we look at every now and then remanising past glories. The ones screaming to be rejuvinated and used again after years of hibanation.
You know the ones, old silver Rebels, old Rubix Floppies cracked or melted with age, boxes of old flatfish with old rusted trebles hanging off them, old halcos and smith jigs etc.
Just like sending your mother to a retirement home,You dont want to do it out of love but you have to.To me lures are the same,I dont want to box them up and retire them but i have to otherwise ill need a truck to carry my gear.:'(
Who else has my problem?;D
Cheers

Yep,

still got an original Floppy somewhere, and a few spinners and old bass lures from that era.

Cheers
