merc 850 60 era

hi all.
i have had no luck finding out what ratio to run my merc850 at.

any help would be great as i really want to fire it up today.

I think from almost the very beginning, they all used 50:1 but surely a call to a Merc Dealer will confirm this.

ps. is there anything i should look out for when starting a motor for the first time in 2 years???

I guess the Waterpump, make sure it is pumping Water, and is there any 3 year old fuel in the Carbies? but other than that, I guess it is just a case of making sure the throttle works, choke closes, close your Eyes, fingers in your ears and turn the key!

I had a quick search on google, and there are hundreds of sights that i didn't have time to narrow down. there are tables you can download as well.
