Can anyone give me views of the haines 630 Breeze which I believe is similiar to it predecessor the 620sf. The Boat is used Offshore in South Australia and its weight boat only is around 1200kg with ba New Honda 175 4 stroke fitted?

Hi

I have a OMC type 620 SF which would be at least 100 kG lighter than the 630, and the ride in the 620 is fantastic for its size IMHO - the current 630 would be better ie better than fantastic whatever that is. The only concern would be the 175 - that is the minimum power for that hull in my view, I mean 175 is OK, but the honda is a fairly heavy beast. I only have a half pod - you would really need a full pod for the honda, not sure whether the current models have a full pod.

i think the 600r or 600 classic would be a much better riding/handling boat from all reports from owners i have heard from.

Thanks Whichway and Julian 1 for your input. I think your right re the 600r and more modern cad design but the Breeze I Buying is such a Greeeeeat price I hope i doing the right thing. Im sure with the badge comes a good boat! I have explored the bigger version of motor Whichway but they assure me it will perfectly matched... Stay tuned. Again thanks for input
