Hello,
I need help with the conversion of my Yamaha 50 hp 4 stroke, 2002 model, from a tiller to a forward control setup.
I purchases a 703 push to open control box, harness, extension, tacho, trim gauge etc and have fitted it all up, however.....
The lot works apart from the heat alarm and the trim gauge. So, I'm guessing that I'm not too far off finishing the project.
But, the wires from the trim gauge do not seem to marry up with the colours of the accessories harness. The pink wire, which I thought was to go to the trim gauge is, if powered up, the overheat waring horn. The pink wire at the engine runs from the trim switch and the heat sensor has a grey wire. All a little confusing.
Does anyone know the correct way to go. I have searched high and low for a wiring diagram (free of course) on the internet to no avail, hence my request.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Tim
